Analysis of Fault Characteristics of AC Transmission Line in Offshore Wind Farm

The basic working principle and topology of offshore wind power transmission system are introduced, and the negative sequence suppression control strategy and low-voltage ride-through control strategy are analyzed. Combined with the AC side fault ride-through control objective, the analytical expression method of converter short-circuit current is proposed, the fault sequence network of single-phase ground fault and inter-phase fault is established, and the fault characteristics of the AC converging line is analyzed, and the simulation results show that the flexible DC converter and the wind farm provide short-circuit currents, and the short-circuit currents show amplitude-limited characteristics.
