Research on Investment Strategies for Rural Power Grid Considering the Uncertainty of Regional Development and Investment Risks

Considering the uncertainty surrounding regional development stages and the challenge of accurately quantifying regional investment requirements at various development stages, a stochastic optimization model for rural power grid investment strategies is proposed. Firstly, Latin Hypercube Sampling (LHS), the Wasserstein metric, and the 0–1 scene dimensionality reduction methods are combined to generate random scenarios reflecting uncertainty in regional development. Secondly, a stochastic optimization model for rural power grid investment decisions considering regional development uncertainty and investment risks is constructed. Finally, the results demonstrated that the obtained decision plan meets the development needs and investment capacity of rural power grids, reduces the investment risk of rural power grids by 6.81%, and has good superiority.
