Study on the Method of Dividing the Proportion of Units Covered by Pumped Storage Capacity Tariffs

This paper mainly studies the division method of the proportion of units covered by capacity tariff for pumped storage power stations. Firstly, the framework of the two-part tariff mechanism for pumped storage is analyzed, and the influencing factors of the division of the proportion of units covered by the capacity tariff are analyzed from the internal and external factors respectively; secondly, the division of the proportion of units covered by the capacity tariff for pumped storage based on the risk-weighted return is established, and the model of assessing the economic benefits of pumped storage power stations that have gradually entered the market stage is established; finally, the case study of a certain pumped storage plant in Fujian Province is conducted. Finally, a pumped storage power plant in Fujian Province is used as a case study to assess the economic efficiency of the pumped storage power plant, and then the sensitivity analysis is used to study the impact of the proportion of the capacity of the units covered by the approved capacity tariff on the economy of the power plant.
