Hierarchical Control of an Adaptive Droop Regulated Microgrid with Dynamical Load Power Sharing

In this paper, a hierarchical control strategy is proposed for microgrids with multiple power electronic devices. In the first layer, in order to realize the dynamic load distribution and suppress the voltage fluctuation, a new adaptive droop control with voltage feedback compensation is designed. In the second layer, the supervisory secondary control aims to change the unit-level operation mode by scheduling the power exchange between the energy storage unit and the power grid, avoiding undesired switching, thereby reducing power loss and enhancing system stability. Using the hierarchical control model designed by the standard, the microgrid can adjust the control strategy according to the change of the environment to achieve the purpose of stabilizing the voltage. Through simulation verification, the control strategy proposed in this paper can effectively suppress bus voltage fluctuation and improve the stable operation ability of the system in each mode.
