Research on Reliability Evaluation Methods for Traction Power Supply Systems

The reliability design and analysis methods, which are pertinent to the traction power supply systems in weak grid, are far from perfect. The current results fail to offer a comprehensive assessment of the system's reliability. In this paper, by optimizing node number and parent node search method, a fault impact assessment method is proposed to classify each node according to the influence range and isolation range of shutdown components, which can achieve the accumulation of system reliability indicators and achieve the goal of evaluating the reliability of the whole system. In addition, this paper presents a method to quickly calculate the reliability of the system and the fault importance of each component by using Goal-Oriented (GO) method, and verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method with an example. The results show that the average error of the average downtime rate and the average downtime time is 4.09% and 5.33% respectively, which is within the error range.
