Safe-Guard: A Smartphone Application with Child Abuse Detection, Doctor Selection, Legal Aid, and Child Abuse Case Reporting Help Assistance

Child abuse encompasses various forms of maltreatment, exploitation, and mental and sexual abuse of children. It is a major concern for children's health and personal lives. Apart from family members, other individuals who may abuse children include teachers, friends, relatives, and strangers. The previous literature did not deliver any online-based smartphone application for immediate child assistance when it came to analyzing features related to child abuse detection, such as question-and-answer sessions about physical, sexual, and mental abuse, the selection of doctors and lawyers based on user preferences, police force assistance, instant help post and family contact, question-and-answer sessions, nearby shelters, and fund collection for assistance for abused children. To assist children regarding abuse incidents, this article brings a smartphone application with child abuse detection by examining physical, mental, and sexual abuse incidents, doctor and lawyer selection and booking features with user cost, location, help area verification, police force assistance, instant help post, and family contact feature, question and answer session, nearby shelter and fund collection for abused children, contact us, and app rating submission features. The impact and app quality justification show that over 58 % of reviewers left positive comments about the proposed child abuse prevention assistance application.
