Weighted BIRCH Algorithm for Probabilistic Shaping 64QAM Coherent Optical Communication System

The Weighted BIRCH algorithm is proposed to mitigate the fiber nonlinearity for PS-64QAM signals. Experimental results demonstrate that compared with the traditional BIRCH, the proposed algorithm improves the dynamic range of fiber-launched power by 1.4 dBm.
