DRL-based Impairment-aware Resource Allocation Algorithm in C + L Band Elastic Optical Networks

We propose an impairment-aware resource allocation algorithm for C+L-band elastic optical networks based on deep reinforcement learning (DRL). Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm effectively reduces the blocking probability by over 10.9%.
