High-Speed Wideband Wavelength-Swept DFB Laser Array Based on REC Technique

A wideband fast-sweeping tunable laser array has been designed and fabricated based on reconstruction-equivalent-chirp (REC) technique. The total continuous wavelength tuning range of the multiwavelength laser array is greater than 48 nm with a sweep speed of 5 kHz. By continuous measuring of a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) utilizing the wavelength-swept DFB laser array, it shows a maximum wavelength deviation of less than 2 pm, demonstrating a good wavelength sweeping repeatability.
