Co-Generated Brillouin Lasers in a Graphene Over-Modal Microresonator for Multispecies Gas Detection

Stimulated Brillouin lasers are generated in an over-modal graphene microsphere resonator. By measuring the mode-to-mode laser heterodyne beats, we achieve a label-free chemical gas sensor with tens of part-per-trillion sensitivity for multispecies gas detection.
