Numerical Simulations of Spatial Coherence Factors for Interferometric Multimode Speckles

We described a statistical simulation model for generating heterodyne and homodyne speckles for a multimode interferometry system, which includes a single-mode-based reference arm and a multimode-based sample arm. Based on the generated interferometric multimode speckles, we calculated and compared the heterodyne and homodyne coherence factors under various spatial modal contents.
