Evaluation of an Arbitrary Waveform Generator for Calibrating the Impulse Digital Recorder

This paper describes the utilization of an 16-bit resolution arbitrary waveform generator for calibrating the impulse digitizer. The generator can be programmed flexibly to create the necessary impulse waveform, which can be loaded via TDG software or an analytical math expression. Test results were validated through the convolution of the step response of the impulse digitizer and a reference waveform of known parameters.
