Educators’ View’s of Technology Assisted Instruction with Disabilities

The purpose of this research is to reveal educators' views of computer programs designed for special education and disabled individuals as assistive technology. Computer technology in special education is among the most widely introduced tools to improve the teaching and learning process. In this context, how do disable individuals benefit from technology assisted instruction and how technology helps to special education students. And how do special education educators’ views of technology assisted instruction for disable people. A descriptive model and qualitative research method were used to investigate the views of special education educators. The open-ended questions were set for semistructured interviews. Qualitative phenomenological research method applied and the descriptive analysis has been used in this research. During the data collection phase, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 10 special education educators. According to the results of this research, the views of special education educators on technology-assisted use have evolved rapidly, helping to train disabled individuals by using technology in education.
