ȌAI Life” and Human Fear: from Phenomenological Insights to Digital Creation

In an era where artificial intelligence permeates human life, “AI life” raises questions about intelligence, consciousness, and human-machine boundaries. AI systems' complex learning and adaptive behaviors are about to redefine life. This paper uses a phenomenological approach to examine “AI life,” focusing on human fears of these digital entities. This study examines the root causes of such fears by juxtaposing critical philosophical ideas in AI and humans. It also presents a theoretical framework to analyze these anxieties and apply it to the AI-narrative case study. It helps us understand AI fears and their phenomenological roots and sheds light on how AI in the arts reflects and amplifies societal fears, contributing to AI and digital creation discourse.
