Influence of the Wall Parameter Errors on the Estimation Quality in Through-the-Wall Imaging

Estimation of wall parameters is critical for focused through-the-wall imaging (TWI). In order to accurately determine the position of the target behind the wall (opaque obstacles), we proposed how the wrong estimation of the characteristics of the wall can affect the quality of the image. In this paper, MUSIC (Multiple Signal Classification) method is utilized to reconstruct unknown object behind walls. Numerical results are presented and all models are made in the WIPL-D Pro v20 software.
