Wave Digital Method to Simulate a Rectangular Microstrip Coaxial Fed Patch Antenna

This paper explores the wave digital method, an equivalent circuit based, to simulate a rectangular microstrip coaxial fed patch antenna. The goal behind this method is to develop a digital counterpart of one-port microstrip structure in order to analyze it in digital domain by use of MATLAB/Simulink environment. The antenna simulated characteristic is compared with the other simulation results, as well as with measured ones.
