Data-Driven State-Feedback Controller Synthesis for Dissipativity: A Dualization-Based Approach

In this paper we propose a non-conservative static state-feedback controller synthesis method for discrete-time linear time-invariant systems. The synthesis goal is to render a closed-loop system dissipative with respect to a given generic unstructured quadratic supply function, while the system dynamics is partially represented by noisy state-input data. While the same problem has already been considered in the literature, the main novelty is the solution approach which is based on the dualization lemma to obtain solvable linear matrix inequalities for controller synthesis.
