Applying the Cylindrical Wave Model with Height Thresholding to Airborne SAR Tomography

In TomoSAR imaging, airborne SAR systems have extensive applications. However, there are elevation ambiguity and other artifacts while applying TomoSAR with airborne system. In addition, the low flight altitude of airborne systems also limits the planar wave imaging model. To improve this issue in 3D imaging, the cylindrical wave model with height thresholding is proposed for TomoSAR imaging in this paper, which greatly diminish the artifacts in large-scale urban TomoSAR imaging. The experiment on the airborne array SAR data validates the effectiveness of the method.
