Indoor signal fuzzy modeling for wireless sensor mobility control in critical corner effect situations

the tracking of mobile sensors is a crucial research topic in the field of wireless sensor networks. It is vital to make decisions regarding when and which Anchor to connect to. A mobile sensor that badly selects the rejoining moment and Anchor connection inadequately may result in overly frequent and unproductive connections. This research introduces a fuzzy tracking method that utilizes the Receive Signal Strength (RSS) and the hysteresis modeling to achieve efficient performance in indoor conditions. We will use linear interpolation to linearize the physical RSS captured by the antenna of the mobile sensor. On each part of its route, the measurements obtained from the current Anchor must be interpolated by the mobile sensor through a linear form. Once the extrapolation is done correctly, the linear equation equivalent to each portion of the path will be the objective of a new making decision with which Anchor the mobile sensor must connect. Such decisions are crucial, particularly in corner scenarios. The approach is fast and controlled only at the mobile sensor level. We perform some simulations to proof the effectiveness of proposed approach based on slope ratio, RSS and hysteresis
