Sensitivity Analysis of a Stochastic Model on Human Cardiovascular System

The aim of the present paper is to analyze the performance of a human cardiovascular system considering various causes of its degradation and failure. The preventions and treatments may be taken have also been considered. For the purpose, stochastic model has been developed for the system and analyzed by determining some performance measures using Markov process and regenerative point technique. Sensitivity and relative sensitivity analysis are also carried out to judge the impact of various parameters on mean survival time.
