The transition to a new technological framework and digitalization have contributed to a significant advancement in human development. As technological infrastructures, industries, and societies evolve, the necessity to enhance the university development model increases. The outdated nature of university management infrastructure and systems frequently hinders their ability to function efficiently and competitively. Higher education establishments might encounter various obstacles, such as substantial alterations in funding sources resulting from widespread economic restructuring, which demands increased responsibility at every level, or the urgent requirement to enhance efficacy and efficiency by implementing contemporary technologies. Higher education in India is not exempt from the enormous challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic has imposed on academia around the world. Numerous students who had aspired to pursue higher education at renowned institutions in India and other nations, or in any other country where access to such institutions is still limited, have had their aspirations dashed by the pandemic. Although online education is not a novel notion in India, its necessity is growing. The delivery of education has undergone a significant transformation in recent months. Certain colleges responded swiftly to the transition to online instruction, whereas others encountered difficulties due to inadequate technical expertise and fundamental infrastructure.
