Gender Perception of Talent Management Practices among IT Professionals in Hyderabad

This study examines how talent management techniques are perceived based on gender within the Information Technology (IT) sector in Hyderabad, India. Effective talent management is crucial for the success of organizations, especially in knowledge-intensive sectors such as IT, where people capital is essential. Gender discrepancies continue to exist in the workplace despite the increasing focus on diversity and inclusion, leading to concerns about fair access to opportunities and career progression for women. This research employs a quantitative technique to investigate the perceptions of talent management procedures among male and female IT professionals in their respective firms. 100 questionnaires were used to gather quantitative data to evaluate attitudes toward different talent management approaches. The study's findings reveal the intricate ways female IT professionals demonstrate greater talent retention rates compared to other talent management strategies.
