Modeling and Safety Analysis of the Medullary Thyroid Cancer Medication and Follow-up

Medication and follow-up processes of medullary thyroid cancer are characterized as dynamic, patient-oriented practices that promotes changes during the process. Because medullary thyroid cancer is a complicated disease with a wide range of stages, it is critical after treatment of cancer to design an adaptive strategy for medication and follow-up that is specific to the needs of the patient. A multidisciplinary team of medical specialists working together is needed to offer individualized medication and follow-up processes. Investigating potential risks in both medication and follow-up processes is crucial because if such risks happen, they may have serious consequences and side effects that may threaten a patient’s life. There is currently no defined, modeled, or analyzed medullary thyroid cancer medication and follow-up processes. Software engineering process modeling is used in this paper to improve the medullary thyroid cancer medication and follow-up processes. By modeling the medication and follow-up processes, it is possible to make significant improvements to patient care and medicine administration while preventing process errors that could have catastrophic consequences on patients’ lives. As a result, the study proposes a method for modeling and analyzing the medication and follow-up procedures for medullary thyroid cancer. After that, the paper provides examples of how to use the proposed method and presents and analyzes the results of the analysis. A comprehensive examination of the scenarios involved in the medication and follow-up processes will be involved in future studies.
