Employing Critical Metrics from ECG for Ongoing Blood Pressure Monitoring

Blood pressure is a crucial physiological indicator in humans. This study is focused on developing a method for estimating blood pressure values through the measurement of heart rhythm. The goal is to achieve continuous monitoring of human blood pressure, with the advantages of being portable, non-invasive, painless, cost-effective, and user-friendly. Experimentally, variations in human blood pressure were intermittently captured using a sphygmomanometer cuff-type blood pressure system and compared with ECG parameters such as QT,
$T_{p}$
, and R-H. As a result, regression relationships and correlation coefficients between these factors have been established. The findings demonstrate that human blood pressure exhibits varying degrees of correlation with these parameters in the ECG. The proposed innovations provide a solution for remote diagnosis of chronic diseases and precision medicine strategy.
