Experimental Study of Flight Stability of UAV for Primary Guide Rope Stringing in Power Transmission Line Construction

The application of UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) for primary guide Rope stringing can enhance the automation level of power transmission line construction, simplify the stringing process flow, thus improving productivity, reducing construction cost of stringing operation, relieving labor strength of stringing worker, and improving job safety for the workers. Especially in construction scenarios such as complicated terrain and severe environment, where it is difficult to conduct labor-based stringing, the job efficiency can be improved greatly by utilizing UAV to complete the stringing automatically. This paper is mainly to study the factors affecting the stability of UAV for stringing, which is relying on differential GPS for positioning during a flight.
