Enhance Radar Performance under Truncated Channel Inversion Transmissions

The importance of information systems has significantly increased, with research highlighting the benefits of joint radar and communication systems. A joint radar and truncated channel inversion communication system is considered in this work. By adjusting the channel threshold when communication transmission happens, the radar performance can be enhanced while maintaining the communication performance. Our results show that increasing the communication transmission threshold can help increase both radar and communication performance. Our results also show that this threshold can be increased further without affecting communication performance while allowing more available resources to enhance radar performance.
