Carrier-Based PWM Method for Output Capacitor Voltage Balancing of Vienna Rectifier

This study examines the control mechanism and DC neutral point balancing of a three-phase, three-wire, three-level Vienna rectifier utilising the carrier-based pulse width modulation approach. This method increases the quality of the input current and DC capacitor voltage by detecting irregular intervals without having to know the position of the reference vector. Given the operating parameters, the compensating components for the three phases are computed based on the unbalanced factor and added to the controller's modulation ratio. Therefore, the voltage imbalance between the DC capacitors is decreased. The suggested model includes a control method that uses CB-PWM implementation to provide simple and effective neutral-point voltage regulation.
