A Comprehensive Analysis of EMI Magnetic Shielding Approaches for Power Module

Power modules have emerged as vital components in various applications where components are closely packed. The influence of magnetic fields on sensitive circuits is a crucial concern. This paper investigates the magnetic field coupling in the power module, presenting a comprehensive way to analysis the magnetic field coupling influence and proposing the usage of a magnetic shield to reduce the magnetic field coupling effect. The study obverse some characteristics of the magnetic shields and use a simple experiment to illustrate the characteristics of magnetic shield and provides some considerations to reduce the magnetic field coupling effect in the power module.
