Design and Analysis of Secure Communication Method Based on P2P for Remote Robotic Surgery

Remote surgery has the advantages of breaking geographical restrictions, shortening the time for patients to see a doctor, and strong scalability. However, compared with conventional local robot-assisted surgery, remote robotic surgery has many problems such as data transmission delay, data transmission reliability and security, which may cause surgical risks. This research studies the remote safe communication method of surgical robot with the self-developed master-slave "intra renal interventional diagnosis and treatment robot" as the object. First of all, in view of the data communication requirements of remote surgical robots and the working characteristics of the master-slave robot system, the problems in the data transmission process of remote surgical robots are fully analyzed and studied. Secondly, in order to meet the requirement mentioned above, the communication system of the remote surgical robot is designed and researched, the server is built to realize UDP hole piercing and server transfer scheme, the P2P communication mode is designed for end-to-end direct connection and the method of data verification and data encryption is studied. Finally, for the communication system designed in this study, with the self-developed master-slave "intrarenal interventional diagnosis and treatment robot" as the carrier, relevant model experiments were carried out to verify the remote operability of the developed communication system.
