Advanced Neural Network Based Propagation Models for 3-D Indoor Geometries

In recent years, several neural network based models have been presented for radiowave propagation in indoor and outdoor environments (A. Seretis and C.D. Sarris, “An Overview of Machine Learning Techniques for Radiowave Propagation Modeling”, IEEE Trans. Antennas Propag., 2022). Trained with measured and/or simulated data, these models can offer high accuracy combined with significantly reduced computational cost, compared to alternative techniques such as ray-tracing.
