Plane-Wave Scattering from a Lossy Thin Dielectric Plate with a Finite-Size Inhomogeneity: Resonance Analysis by Means of a New Optical Theorem

In a recent paper by the authors, a new Optical Theorem formulation has been developed for the analysis of the absorption by a holed resistive plane illuminated by a plane wave. This paper is aimed at generalizing such an approach to studying the natural mode resonances of a lossy thin dielectric plane with a finite-size inhomogeneity.
