An Innovative Image Encryption Algorithm rooted in the Concept of Latin Square Matrix Algorithm

Image encryption techniques are crucial for guaranteeing the secrecy, consistency, and genuineness of images in diverse applications. These methods are specifically designed to transform images into a format that is incomprehensible or devoid of meaning without the appropriate decryption key. They play a crucial role in preserving the privacy and safeguarding the integrity of photographs in many applications. This work introduces an innovative method for encrypting and decrypting images using a probabilistic approach. The suggested technique utilizes probabilistic encryption to transform a plaintext image into many ciphertext images using a single encryption key. It also guarantees that the decoding process is capable of handling errors up to a predetermined threshold. The proposed encryption algorithm employs two distinct techniques, specifically permutation and substitution, to encrypt square pictures. In a digital picture chaotic encryption system, the initial approach involves employing a random number sequence derived from the image pixel set and chaos for encryption purposes. The second strategy employs a cascade mechanism for the row permutations, referred to as PLCLs, in conjunction with the column permutations known as PCCLs. The third method use the logistic mapping methodology to produce sequences that display a pseudorandom appearance. The experimental results consistently show that the suggested encryption strategy is secure. It has a large key space, is very sensitive to both plain images and plain images, and does not have any known flaws.
