Smart Health Monitoring Framework for the Prevention of Infectious Diseases

In the recent past, COVID-19 has emerged as one of the major health emergencies throughout the world which has given stimulus to the research to propose smart health monitoring systems for the prevention of contagious diseases. The proposed research is an effort towards this direction which offers a framework for smart health monitoring systems, for the prevention of contagious diseases. The system includes an adhesive element configured to the skin of humans, which includes a set of sensors configured to discover numerous fitness parameters of the person and a configured processing unit. The vital parameters-based health data collected from the proposed systems can be used to examine whether the received values are within the predefined desired ranges. A warning unit is configured in the processing unit that is activated upon receiving the set of warning alerts from the processing unit. Further, the system’s warning unit provides alerts to take precautions to save ourselves from the transmission of infectious diseases. Additionally, this paper results in a strong and efficient solution for an accurate infectious disease monitoring system.
