Finite Element Analysis of Key Components of a Turret in a Single-Point Mooring System

The internal turret is the main structure of single-point mooring technology, and this paper takes the "Nanhai Endeavour" FPSO as the research object, firstly introduces the main components of the internal turret, then analyzes the working environment of the internal turret, determines the working conditions, and carries out the load design according to the working conditions. Then, the static strength analysis of the main structure of the swivel stack and the slideway beam was carried out in ABAQUS, and it was proved that the internal turret structure met the strength design requirements. Finally, the stability of the swivel stack is analyzed, and the buckling mode is analyzed to prove that the slip ring stack meets the stability requirements. Through the static strength analysis, fatigue analysis and stability analysis of the FPSO internal turret of Nanhai Endeavour, this paper proves that the structural strength meets the requirements, and provides some theoretical support and practical guidance for the development of the internal turret.
