“Synthetic-Seed-Saturation“ Concept: Overcome Nonresponse-Bias in Retrospective Medical Studies

In the area of tension between legislative demands and specific legal opening clauses for data collection and data processing in medical studies, non-response bias is a serious problem. We present an innovative concept that enables two objectives to be combined in a retrospective study of a general practitioner: 1: Compared to the conventional approach, we improve data protection for the majority of participating patients. 2: We will evaluate the entire patient cohort without non-response bias by dividing the patient cohort into two sub-cohorts that are separated in accordance with data protection law(s) and evaluating them in a staggered procedure.
