Proposal and Evaluation of Search Methods in Connect6

Connect6 is an extended board game derived from gobang (five-in-a-row), and it is one of the two-player zero-sum finite deterministic perfect information game. The starting player makes one move, followed by both players taking turns making two moves each. Due to the recommended size of the game board being
$19\times 19$
or larger, Connect6 presents a challenge with an enormous search space, and its analysis is not yet well-developed. In this paper, we propose and evaluate a search method utilizing a heuristic evaluation function for Connect6.
