Evaluation of Energy in Wireless Sensor Network-Based IOT Application Using CR-MSGT

The monitoring of physical conditions in a variety of contexts is greatly aided by Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). Regarding energy consumption and network performance, WSNs depend on efficient routing methods for data transfer. By comparing the CR-MSGT approach's performance to other routing protocols, this study assesses the energy efficiency of WSNs. Proactive, reactive, and hybrid protocols are among the categories of routing protocols that are examined, depending on how they operate and the applications for which they are intended. Together with data-centric, hierarchical, and location-based techniques, the research also examines direct communication, flat, and clustering protocols. Findings point to the potential of CR-MSGT for increasing network scalability and optimizing energy use. Research findings help to improve WSN performance in Internet of Things applications.
