Design and Analysis of BLDC Motor-Based Electric Vehicle Using Fuzzy Logic Controller

This study focuses on enhancing the efficiency and reliability of electric vehicles (EVs) by designing and analyzing a system based on a Brushless DC (BLDC) motor integrated with a bi-directional DC-DC driver and controlled by Fuzzy Logic. The incorporation of Fuzzy Logic aims to optimize the energy transfer between the battery and motor, improving the vehicle's state of charge (SOC), which is essential for increasing driving range and battery lifespan. Simulation results confirm significant improvements in SOC management, reduced energy losses, and overall vehicle performance. This research provides both theoretical insights and practical implications for the advancement of EV technologies, particularly in optimizing power systems for better energy efficiency and reliability in commercial EV applications.
