Research and application of active fusion control technology for asymmetric voltage distortion

The nonlinear characteristics of electric locomotive loads contribute to high voltage distortion rates (THDH) and harmonic levels in traction substations. These loads draw fundamental current from the grid while also injecting significant harmonic currents, posing a threat to power supply security by inducing voltage distortion. This study focuses on analyzing the voltage distortion rates caused by V/x type traction transformers in power systems through the establishment of a three-phase model of the traction substation. By collecting various experimental data and conducting simulations, we investigated the impact of these transformers on the power system.Through the utilization of an active control fusion algorithm, parameters were modified to enable reasonable control of the original parameter model and its state. The results demonstrate that active control measures effectively mitigate the high distortion rates observed in local power grids, reducing voltage flicker and preventing harmonic currents from exceeding acceptable levels. This approach significantly improves power quality and enhances grid security."
