Research Progress of Inner Cooling Water Treatment Technology for Large-Scale Generators and Condensers

The inner cooling water for generators and condensers were required insulation and anticorrosion. If the inner cooling water is not treated properly, it will cause generator and condensers coil corrosion, and even affect the safe and stable operation of the generators and condensers. In view of the corrosion problem of the inner cooling water system, this paper introduces the main factors affecting the quality of inner cooling water such as pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen content and CO2, The treatment techniques used for inner cooling water include adding corrosion inhibitor method, ion exchange method, overflow drainage method, and alkalinization treatment method are summarized, and suggestions are made to address the problems of existing technologies.
