Design of Inductive Magnetic Sensor for Space Magnetic Field Measurement

The electromagnetic field environment aboard space stations constitutes one of the crucial environments astronauts encounter during their missions in Earth’s orbit. Acquiring real-time monitoring data of the electromagnetic field aboard space stations can assess the level of the electromagnetic environment, thereby exploring its impact on astronauts’ health and offering substantive support for their protective measures. This paper presents the design of an inductive magnetic sensor, focusing on the design calculation and simulation analysis of the key parameters of the inductive coil. The magnetic feedback compensation method is employed to broaden the measurement frequency band of the inductive coil. Through calibration tests were conducted inside a magnetically shielded cylinder, the measurement bandwidth has been extended to $700 \mathrm{~Hz}-80 \mathrm{kHz}$ and the test results have shown agreement with theoretical expectations.
