Experimental study on shunting performance of centrifugal diverter

Gas-liquid two-phase refrigerant uneven distribution are the main factors influencing the refrigeration performance degradation. The diverter can be used as an important auxiliary device to effectively improve this phenomenon. In this experiment, by studying the operation of centrifugal diverter under variable working conditions, The effects of cooling rate, superheat unevenness, cooling capacity unevenness and pressure drop on uniform refrigerant distribution were analyzed. The results show that the temperature range in the storage is between -22 °C and -14 °C, library body with the increase of temperature of the library body, the unevenness of the superheat degree of the centrifugal diverter in each evaporator branch pipes gradually increases, and the unevenness of the cooling capacity of each library body does not change much, indicating that the centrifugal diverter has good diversion performance under small range conditions.
