Simulation of EV Battery and its Optimum Design Components

The increasing popularity of electric vehicles (EVs) as sustainable modes of transportation demands a comprehensive understanding of battery dynamics and optimal design components. A sophisticated framework is developed, encompassing diverse models for EV simulation, thermal analysis, and Battery Management System (BMS) control. A Li-ion battery pack model is developed, showcasing critical parameters such as current, voltage, and State of Charge (SOC). The study also explores the integration of Photovoltaic (PV) systems with multiple storage methodologies, realized through a robust MATLAB/Simulink mathematical model, which provides valuable insights and serving as a vital reference for refining and optimizing battery performance in the quest for sustainable transportation solutions.
