Simulation and Corrosion Resistance Study of cable connector Based on Magnetic Crimping Technology

The connection of the cable connectors is the weak point of the cable performance. Most cable accidents occur at the joint. Improving the connection quality of the cable connectors is conducive to improving the operational stability of the cable. In this paper, the magnetic induction intensity of different formed coil in the process of magnetic crimping is analyzed through simulation and comparison, and the effects of pressure clamp and magnetic crimping on the corrosion resistance of cable connectors are compared. The results show that the corrosion resistance of the cable connectors after magnetic crimping is excellent, which can meet the needs of long-term operation of cables.
