Modelling and Analysis of Graphene based OLED

The primary focus of this paper is on modelling and analyzing organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). These OLEDs are the most flexible in the market; they have a transparent electrode with graphene (a material with a thickness of 0.335 nm), exceptional brightness and outstanding flexibility, has a great deal of potential for enhancing OLED performance because of its unique characteristics, which include high mechanical flexibility, transparency, and electrical conductivity. The paper first addresses the current state of OLED technology before going into the potential benefits of employing graphene. In this work, the Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method is employed to model the graphene layer on OLEDs. The far field intensity of various devices with graphene in OLED is analysed and results show that the intensity is more in comparison with conventional OLED.
