Siamese Networks and Adversarial Attacks: An Overview

Siamese networks are used to perform various tasks including but not limited to image classification, face recognition, and information retrieval. However, challenges posed by adversarial attacks may diminish their robustness. This manuscript provides an overview of the Siamese Networks in the context of adversarial attacks. We delve into nature of attacks in various application domains and mechanisms employed by Siamese Networks to withstand adversarial attacks. We explore the defensive strategies that enhance resilience, and provide insights related to future research directions.
