Ultra-Wideband Antenna in W Band with Low Profile Based on Higher Order Modes and Long-Short Parasitic Units

To broadened the bandwidth of the microstrip antenna,This article introduces a W-band ultra-wideband patch antenna that works on higher order modes with multiple parasitic units. The antenna is installed on a rectangular rogers5880 dielectric base, using a set of long parasitic units to generate a new mode TM
10
at high frequencies, and a set of short parasitic units to bring closer the RMSA higher order mode TM ${ }_{02}$ and the long parasitic unit $\mathbf{T M}_{10}$, enhancing the overall bandwidth. After simulation, the antenna has a 42G bandwidth (relative bandwidth) at $89.5-131.1 \mathrm{GHz}$, the overall size of the antenna is 3.1252.8730.254mm, with a maximum gain of 8.5 dB, and the radiation pattern forms a bilateral detection. The antenna has broad application prospects in detection.
