Reconsideration on thermocouple signal delay in the combined probe for Heliotron J edge plasma

Estimation and control of heat load onto plasma facing component are a urgent issue for commercial reactor. Although many current heat flux measurement is based on infrared camera imaging, it can not be applicable in the future, due to limitation of measurement port area. Calorimetric method with embedded type thermometer would be still useful in such a fusion reactor. However, careful heat transfer analysis of monitoring temperature data of plasma irradiated target is still on going. For example, for long discharge plasma of over an hour, such target needs active cooling and heat flux analysis must include such cooling effect quantitatively.
