Research on optimal scheduling of "wind-PV-thermal-energy storage" system considering net output characteristics

The stability of the energy grid system is influenced by the production of renewable energy and the fluctuation of load. This paper proposes computational methods for fuel cost and ramp-up costs for thermal power units, energy storage system operating costs, and penalty costs of new energy abandonment. This paper presents an optimal scheduling model for "wind-PV-thermal-energy storage" system, taking into account both net production and running costs. Analysis of uncertainty in wind energy, PV production, and extraction steam storage capacity. This model is used to analyse the performance of uncertainties in wind power, PV output, and extraction steam storage. Firstly, optimum targets for optimum design are maximal wind power output, minimal net load variation and minimal operating cost; Secondly, an optimal scheduling policy for "wind-PV-thermal-energy storage", which includes a large percentage of new energy, is simulated on a typical day. Based on this model, the optimum scheduling policy can be calculated, which makes the electricity system more flexible and more economical.
