Research on the expansion planning of transmission networks integrating new energy sources

Under the guidance of China's "dual carbon" goals, the focus of the country's energy development is gradually shifting towards low-carbon and clean new energy sources. However, the uncertainty and anti-load-following characteristics of new energy sources like wind and photovoltaic power generation intensify the uncertainty in the power transmission grid that integrates these sources. To address this issue, this paper employs uncertainty probability modeling to establish a transmission network expansion planning model that considers the level of system congestion. Furthermore, a hybrid self-adaptive differential evolution algorithm with a decay function (HyDE-DF) is utilized to solve the model. The correctness and effectiveness of the proposed planning model are verified through tests on an 18-node system.
